You've probably read the books.

You've done the journaling.

Maybe you've sat in a therapy chair for longer than you care to count.

And yet something still feels just... out of reach.

Not because you don't understand yourself.

You do.

But understanding isn't the same as transformation.

Real change doesn't happen in your head.

It happens in your body.

In your breath.

In moments of honest, unguarded experience, when something finally moves that's been stuck for a long, long time.

That's what we do here.

Every Sunday morning.

Together.

What is the Community Breathe

Once a week, I open a space, free, live, and online, for anyone who wants to come home to themselves.

The Community Breathe is a 60-minute conscious connected breathwork session held over Zoom, with about 15 minutes of grounding and guidance on either side.

From 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM Irish time, every Sunday.

No performance.

No pressure.

No prior experience needed.

Just you, your breath, and a community of people doing the same courageous thing, choosing to actually be with themselves.

What Happens in a session

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a specific, rhythmic breathing pattern you maintain, consciously and continuously, for the duration of the practice.

We begin with a short arrival and intention-setting, then you’re guided into a 45–60 minute breath journey supported by music and clear facilitation.

You lie down, breathe in a connected rhythm, and allow the process to unfold.

Experiences vary. You may feel physical sensations, emotional release, insight, clarity, or deep calm.

Sometimes it’s subtle. Sometimes it’s powerful. There is no “right” experience.

The breath meets you where you are, and the process unfolds at a pace your system can handle.

After the active breathing phase, we rest and gently integrate.

There’s space to reflect, journal, or share if you wish.

This work isn’t about forcing catharsis, it’s about creating safety, presence, and capacity so that real, lasting shifts can emerge naturally.

Physical release

Layers of tension you didn't know they were carrying, finally letting go.

A sense of space and lightness that's hard to describe until you've felt it.

Mental quiet

For many, the first real silence they've found.

Not forced.

Not meditated into. Just... arrived.

Emotional truth

Feelings that have been patiently waiting get to move.

Grief, joy, anger, love. People are often surprised by what's been there all along.

Spiritual connection

To themselves, to something larger. Call it source, god, universe, ancestors, whatever language fits.

Something opens.

You don't choose which of these you'll experience.

The breath takes you where you need to go.

Most people are blown away by what happens in just one hour.

This isn't Meditation (and thats the point)

If meditation feels impossible, your system may just need a different doorway.

You may just be wired for something more active as a starting point.

Conscious connected breathwork gives your nervous system something to do.

The breath becomes the anchor.

The practice does the work.

You don't have to try to quiet your mind, the breath does it for you.

It's accessible. It's embodied.

And for most people, it's unlike anything they've experienced before.

"I've been in therapy for twenty years. I've made more change in six months of this work than in the previous twenty combined."

Community Breathe Participant

Who is this for?

This space is for you if:

  • You're done collecting insight and ready to feel something actually shift

  • You sense something is stored in your body but haven't found a way in

  • You're craving a practice that works in your lived experience, not just conceptually

  • You want to do this alongside others on the same path

  • You're curious, open, and willing to give yourself an hour

You don't need experience.

You don't need to be spiritual.

You don't need anything except a willingness to show up.

Newcomers are welcome.

Returning breathers are welcome.

All of you are welcome here.

"A person who doesn't breathe deeply reduces the life of his body.

If he doesn't move freely, he restricts the life of his body.

If he doesn't feel fully, he narrows the life of his body.

And if his self-expression is constricted, he limits the life of his body."

Alexander Lowen

There's something that happens when you breathe in a group, even online.

A field forms.

People feel less alone in their experience.

The community holds something that individual practice can't replicate.

Some people come every week and have built this into the rhythm of their lives.

Others drop in when they feel called. You choose your own adventure.

But many find that this Sunday morning ritual becomes one of the most important hours of their week.

About your facilitator

Pat Divilly | Founder, Journey the Breath

I've been leading breathwork for ten years and running the Journey the Breath School for the last two, training over 100 facilitators and guiding hundreds of ceremonies, in person and online, across the world.

My background spans close to twenty years in wellness: a Master's in Exercise and Nutrition Science, training in coaching, NLP, hypnosis, logotherapy, Jungian psychology, trauma release work, men's work, Core Energetics, and over 1,000 hours of formal breathwork training.

But more than credentials, I teach what I live. I've walked every inch of this path myself.

The breathwork, the shadow work, all of it. This isn't information I pass on from a distance. It's embodied practice I show up for every single week.

I hold this space because I know what's possible in it.

And I'd love for you to experience it for yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? Here are answers to common queries

What exactly is conscious connected breathwork?

Conscious connected breathwork is a simple but powerful breathing pattern where you breathe continuously, without pauses between the inhale and exhale, for the duration of the session.

The rhythm activates your nervous system in a specific way, allowing stored tension, emotion, and mental noise to move.

You don’t have to “figure it out.”
You just breathe.

Do I need experience to join?

No.

You don’t need to have done breathwork before.
You don’t need to meditate.
You don’t need to be spiritual.

Newcomers join every week.

Everything is guided step-by-step.

All that’s required is a willingness to show up and follow the breath.

What might I experience during a session?

Everyone’s experience is different.

Some people feel:

Physical release or tingling

Emotional waves (grief, joy, anger, relief)

Mental clarity or deep quiet

A sense of connection or openness

Others feel subtle shifts.

There is no “right” experience. The breath meets you where you are.

Is this safe?

For most healthy adults, yes.

However, this practice may not be suitable if you have certain medical or psychological conditions, including:

Uncontrolled high blood pressure

Epilepsy

Cardiovascular disease

Pregnancy

History of psychosis

Recent surgery or major injury

If you are unsure, please consult your GP before attending.
